Terms and conditions
Creator terms · draft 2026-10-02-draft-5. This draft needs legal review before public launch.
1. Who can join
ReelMax accepts creators age 13 and above. Give your real age. If you are under 18 or the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your participation and any binding commercial agreement. Payout setup may require an adult account holder and additional checks. Do not submit personal information belonging to a child under 13.
2. Your work and permissions
You keep the rights you own. Submit only content you created or have permission to use commercially. You are responsible for permissions covering video, images, music, scripts, characters, voices, likenesses, trademarks and collaborators. Do not upload stolen episodes, copied ads or unlicensed assets. Using AI does not remove these obligations or guarantee that an output has copyright protection. Keep proof of permissions and provide it if requested.
3. Prohibited content
No pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexualized nudity, sexual content involving minors, or nonconsensual intimate imagery, including synthetic or AI-generated depictions. No threats, targeted harassment, hateful abuse, doxxing, scams, impersonation, illegal content or material that promotes violence against people. Do not upload malware or misleading files. Fictional LGBTQ+ relationships and identities are welcome and are not prohibited or adult content by themselves.
4. Honest submissions
Use accurate titles, tags and descriptions. Submit finished, playable files without misleading previews. Do not fabricate permissions, plagiarize another creator, manipulate performance metrics or conceal a known rights dispute. You are primarily responsible for the work you submit and must cooperate with reasonable rights or safety checks.
5. Permission to use and repurpose your content
By submitting a drama or episode and accepting these terms, you grant ReelMax a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, reproduce, host, publish, display, distribute and use the submitted content to operate ReelMax and promote ReelMax and its shows. This includes organic social posts, trailers, promotional clips and paid advertising on ReelMax channels and third-party platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
For these purposes, ReelMax may edit, cut, crop, resize, reformat, translate, subtitle and repurpose the content; add captions, branding, music or voiceover that it is authorized to use; and combine it with other material to create promotional versions and advertisements. ReelMax may authorize its service providers, distribution partners and advertising partners to exercise these rights on its behalf, only for these purposes. This does not authorize access to or posting from your personal social accounts without separate permission.
You keep the rights you own. This is permission to use the content, not a transfer of ownership. You must have permission to grant these rights, including commercial advertising and editing rights for music, footage, voices, likenesses and other third-party material. Permission to post something on your own social account alone may not cover these uses. This license does not reduce any payout owed under the applicable earnings terms. Exclusive rights or uses outside these purposes require a separate agreement.
ReelMax reviews submissions before publishing or promoting them. Review is usually within one business day, but timing and acceptance are not guaranteed.
6. Earnings
For dramas, the proposed split is 70% of profit to the creator and 30% to ReelMax, after agreed costs. Recoverable marketing costs require creator agreement and applicable caps. Submission or acceptance alone does not promise payment, ad spend, views or earnings. Payment eligibility, refunds, taxes and required identity or guardian checks must be resolved before payout. Your earnings records show amounts that have actually been recorded, not guaranteed future income.
7. Reports and removal
ReelMax may request changes, decline, pause or remove work for a rights complaint, safety issue, breach of these terms or legal requirement. We may restrict accounts for serious or repeated violations. Report copyright, privacy or content concerns to support@reelmax.app with the relevant links and details. We will review the report and applicable legal obligations; submitting a report does not itself establish infringement.
8. Responsibility and changes
You agree to correct inaccurate information and help resolve claims concerning your submissions. Responsibility and any remedies remain subject to applicable law and the final creator agreement. Nothing here excludes duties or rights that cannot legally be excluded. Material term changes require fresh acceptance for future submissions. The version you accepted and its date are recorded with each submission.
